Welcoming the new KOSPIE students

The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) offers the scholarship programme ‘Combined Study and Practical Placements for Engineers from Developing Countries’
(KOSPIE). As part of this programme, scholarship holders undertake study and practical placements at selected German universities to conduct research for their thesis. Offenburg University of Applied Sciences has been participating in this program for five years now

Six young students of engineering and computer science from Tunisia have now arrived at Offenburg University of Applied Sciences and were welcomed by Prof. Michael Schmidt (INES) and Prof. Axel Sikora (ivESK) and their advisors. The experience so far with the exceptionally qualified and motivated "KOSPIE" students has been very positive. In fact, two KOSPIE alumni are currently pursuing their doctorates at ivESK and also serve as advisors to the new cohort.
